Don’t Be A Wussy- Stay in the Game and Focus!

Hey how are you feeling today? I FEEL GREAT!!  Jim Rohn recommends we keep a journal.  In one of his lessons he says it’s good to look back on your goals and aspirations to see where you are today.

Zig Ziglar provides you with an opportunity to do a quick exercise to ‘Evaluate where you are’.  I AM VERY AWARE that the life I’m living today (3rd September 12) is not the life I want to live. My long term goals are to become financially free.  To spend more time doing the things I enjoy and to show my family and friends how much I adore them.

To achieve these goals I have to work harder on myself mentally.  I also have to take consistent daily action with UPMOST CERTAINITY! How do I know this?  Well every day I listen to very successful people who at some point started out with nothing.  These remarkable world leaders are changing people’s lives daily.  More important than that one day they made a decision to change their own lives.  These leaders understand the laws of the universe and have used their stories to pass on their knowledge.  I relate to their stories.  I am also INSPIRED by the stories of the people they are directly helping.  I believe my life will only get better when I get better!

I love Brian Tracy’s video on the ‘Habits of Success’. If you’re familiar with this session I hope you enjoyed it as much as me.  I’ve personally watched this video repeatedly because I am searching for a better quality of life. Raising my children alone has been difficult financially and at times emotionally.

Like you over the years I’ve overcome challenges.  Like when I decided to take action and return to full time education even though my son was one year old. Studying with children was not easy.  However my determination and consistent effort ensured I was able to graduate before he entered primary school.  This gave me a fantastic boost of self-confidence.

In 2010 a chance meeting in London enabled me to reconnect with someone who inspired me during my university years. Seeing Professor Stephen Chan provided an opportunity to reflect on my personal growth.  Professor Chan had always taken an interest in his students so he was delighted to hear I was in London to deliver a training session on the ‘Challenges of the ‘Big Society’ to the National School of Government.  How did we get to speak to the most senior policy makers in the civil service?  We were invited to be there because we took massive and consistent action to get our message heard.

My self-confidence reached a massive high again yesterday. I admit I did not realise the POWER OF THE INTERNET until this point.  After nine months of feeling sorry for myself. I decided to check the number of hits our ebook entitled ‘The No Nonsense Guide’ has received to date. To my AMAZEMENT with no marketing effort at ALL our free download has been viewed by a staggering 26,735 people!

Over the last three days I’ve listened intensely to David & Dave and other leaders.  I am so glad I did as these new EXICTABLE voices have sharpened my focus. I am REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE LIFE I CAN CREATE FOR MYSELF.  I am taking action on eight simple core steps.  I feel proud of myself. I am striving to be my own master every day of my life.  My accomplishments in the last two days are ALREADY PRODUCING the results I expected.
